Have you tried to get yourself into shape before and failed?
Perhaps you have experienced the disappointment of a New Year’s resolution gone wrong. Every year many people decide that they’re finally going to do something about the way they look. And every year they wait until the last minute to set out their New Year’s “fat-loss resolution.” Then, when the first of the year rolls around, they begin eating what they think is “healthy.” They do some cardio, join a gym, do some situps, etc.
They stick with their program for a while, then they get tired of it because they’re not seeing results.
Sometimes people don’t even begin a program. They waste their money on the latest weight-loss gimmick they saw on a late night infomercial. You know what I am talking about - things that promise to get them into shape but don't deliver and you end using it to hang your clothes on.
Chances are, that if in the past you tried to get into shape, but failed, your heart was in whatever you tried, but you
just weren’t able to stick with it.
People simply start out with the wrong information.
Let’s face it, there is so much misinformation about getting into shape out there that it’s not even funny. However, I have found that once people have the right "road map" to getting in shape (I will provide that), they are half way home. You wouldn’t go on a roadtrip without a map, would you? Of course not. You would more than likely get lost or waste time! With a bad plan of attack, or worse - no plan of attack, you have failed before y0u have begun.
Lack of progress results in a loss of motivation.
Motivation is that which drives us toward our goals. You may start out full of enthusiasm and motivation, only to lose steam along the way. That’s because part of staying motivated is rooted in Reason One, starting with the right information. If you have the right information you will see results, which in turn will help motivate you to continue on your program. Positive feedback reinforces positive behavior.
If you have the right program and can stay motivated, you can achieve your body transformation goals. You still have to work at it, but if you have the right plan and you are motivated to follow it through, YOU CAN GET RESULTS!
Now, I want you to listen to this carefully…
No matter what shape you are in now, you CAN improve your body!
And in many cases, you can improve so much that your family and friends won’t believe your transformation.
